1. About Us

The Humours Hub is a live events platform based in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India. We are an event organiser — we provide a stage, a venue, and a platform for independent artists to perform. The Humours Hub operates as an unregistered event collective and does not maintain any permanent venue.

We rent banquet halls and event spaces on a per-show basis (typically 3–4 hours per event). The venue is confirmed before tickets go live and will not change after tickets are sold. Any venue-related issues beyond our direct control are the responsibility of the venue operator.


2. Content Disclaimer — Read Carefully

The Humours Hub is strictly a platform that provides a stage to independent artists. We do not write, script, direct, approve, review, or have any prior knowledge of the content performed on stage.

All jokes, punchlines, poems, songs, stories, roasts, skits, and any other content performed at our events are entirely the sole creation and responsibility of the individual performer. The Humours Hub has no involvement in, control over, or prior awareness of any content delivered during performances.

The views, opinions, statements, and content expressed during performances do not represent, reflect, or relate to the views of The Humours Hub in any way whatsoever.

The Humours Hub shall not be held liable, responsible, or accountable — directly or indirectly — for any content performed by any artist at any of our events. If a performer makes a joke, a statement, a comment, or delivers any content that you find offensive, inappropriate, harmful, or objectionable — that is solely the responsibility of that individual performer. The Humours Hub has no prior knowledge of, control over, or association with such content. Any grievance must be directed solely to the individual performer, not to The Humours Hub. The Humours Hub does not endorse any content that targets minors, incites violence, or violates applicable Indian law.

By purchasing a ticket and attending our event, you acknowledge and accept that you may be exposed to mature themes, dark humour, satire, adult language, and opinions you may disagree with. No refund will be issued on the basis of dissatisfaction with performance content.

All shows are strictly for audiences aged 18 and above. Valid age proof may be required at entry.


3. Performer Lineup

The Humours Hub reserves the right to add, remove, or replace any performer from the lineup at any time before or during a show, including at last minute, without prior notice and without obligation to offer a refund. The show will proceed with the available performers.

Tickets are sold for the event experience as a whole — not for any specific individual performer. The removal or replacement of a performer does not constitute a show cancellation.


4. Ticket & Booking Policy

  • Tickets are available via our website (powered by Razorpay) or BookMyShow, depending on the show.
  • All ticket purchases are final. Tickets are non-refundable except in the case of show cancellation or postponement by The Humours Hub.
  • Tickets are strictly non-transferable. The ticket is valid only for the person who booked it.
  • Name correction: If you made a spelling error in your name at the time of booking, you may request a one-time correction within 24 hours of booking. Contact us via WhatsApp at +91 75676 64543 with your Booking ID.
  • Entry is restricted to persons aged 18 and above. Valid ID proof may be required at the door.
  • Maximum 5 tickets per booking on our website.
  • Entry is granted via QR scan of your Booking ID at the door. Your Booking ID is your proof of purchase — keep it safe. Retrieve it anytime via the My Ticket page on our website.
  • The Humours Hub reserves the right to refuse entry to any person at its sole discretion, without obligation to provide a reason.
  • The Humours Hub is not responsible for any loss, injury, or damage suffered at the venue beyond our direct control.

5. Refund & Postponement Policy

All ticket sales are final and non-refundable under normal circumstances. No refund will be issued for:

  • Change of plans or no-shows
  • Late arrivals
  • Dissatisfaction with performance content
  • Removal or replacement of any performer from the lineup
  • Any reason other than show cancellation or postponement by The Humours Hub

Show cancellation: If The Humours Hub cancels a show entirely, a full refund will be processed to the original payment method within 5–7 working days.

Show postponement: If The Humours Hub postpones a show to a new date, a full refund will be offered to all ticket holders who cannot attend the new date. Refund requests must be submitted within 48 hours of the postponement announcement.

Force majeure: Events are live and held in rented venues. Minor weather disruptions (light rain, heat, etc.) do not constitute grounds for cancellation or refund — the show will proceed. A full refund will only be issued in cases of serious force majeure such as a government-imposed curfew, natural disaster, or an official order prohibiting the event. The decision of whether a situation qualifies rests solely with The Humours Hub.

6. Recording & Media Policy

Audience:

  • Recording of any kind is strictly prohibited during shows. This includes video, audio, and photography during performances.
  • Mobile phones must be kept on silent during the show.
  • Violation of this policy may result in immediate removal from the venue without refund.

The Humours Hub Media Team:

  • The Humours Hub and its team will record and photograph the event — including performers on stage and audience reactions — for promotional and archival purposes.
  • By purchasing a ticket and attending our event, you acknowledge and consent to being filmed or photographed as part of the audience. Your image or likeness may appear in content posted on our social media platforms including Instagram and YouTube.
  • If you do not wish to be filmed, please inform our team at the door before the show begins. We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate this request but cannot guarantee it in all circumstances.

Performers:

  • By performing at a The Humours Hub event, all performers grant The Humours Hub the unconditional right to record, photograph, and publish any content from their performance across all platforms including Instagram, YouTube, and our official website.
  • This right is granted automatically by the act of performing and is acknowledged by performers at the time of submitting their application via our Perform With Us form. By submitting that form, performers confirm they have read and accepted this recording and media policy.
  • The Humours Hub will credit the performer by their name or Instagram handle when posting their content.
  • Performers retain full ownership of their original material and may reuse their own content freely.
  • Content will be posted without prior notification to the performer.
  • Requests for content removal will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. The Humours Hub is not obligated to remove content once published.

7. Behaviour & Code of Conduct

  • Harassment of any kind toward performers, staff, or other audience members will not be tolerated and will result in immediate removal from the venue without refund.
  • Heckling, interrupting performers, or disruptive behaviour is not permitted.
  • The Humours Hub reserves the right to remove any person from the venue at its discretion without refund.
  • Attendees are responsible for their own behaviour and safety within the venue premises.
  • The Humours Hub is not liable for any altercations, injuries, or incidents between attendees.

8. Sponsors & Brand Partners

The Humours Hub may from time to time feature sponsors or brand partners at our events. Any such partnerships will be disclosed at the event. The Humours Hub is not liable for any products, services, or claims made by sponsors or brand partners. Sponsor involvement does not affect ticket pricing or the event experience in any material way.


9. Payments

  • Online payments are processed securely via Razorpay. The Humours Hub does not store your payment card details.
  • When booking via BookMyShow, their terms and payment policies apply alongside ours. In case of any conflict between BookMyShow's refund or cancellation policies and ours, BookMyShow's policies govern purchases made through their platform.
  • All prices are in Indian Rupees (₹) and inclusive of all applicable charges unless stated otherwise.
  • The Humours Hub reserves the right to change ticket prices at any time. Changes do not affect already confirmed bookings.

10. Privacy & Data

  • We collect your name, phone number, and optionally your email address at the time of booking. This is used solely to process your booking and communicate show-related updates.
  • We use the following third-party services which may collect data independently: Razorpay (payment processing), Meta Pixel (advertising analytics), and Google Analytics (website usage tracking). Each operates under their own privacy policies.
  • We do not sell your personal data to any third party.
  • In accordance with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act), you have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal data held by us.
  • For any data-related request or grievance, contact us at humourshub1@gmail.com. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe.
  • By attending our event, you consent to The Humours Hub capturing and publishing your image or likeness as part of audience content. See Section 6 for details.
  • Booking data is stored securely in our database.

11. Limitation of Liability

  • The Humours Hub is an event platform and is not liable for any loss, injury, or damage suffered at or in connection with our events beyond our direct control.
  • We are not liable for the content, accuracy, legality, or appropriateness of any performance by any artist.
  • We are not responsible for any claims arising from performance content — all such claims must be directed solely to the individual performer.
  • We are not responsible for any actions, statements, or conduct of any performer before, during, or after the event.
  • Our maximum liability to any attendee is limited to the amount paid for their ticket.
  • The Humours Hub is not responsible for any venue-related issues including parking, facilities, or premises safety.

12. Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes shall fall under the jurisdiction of courts in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India.


13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms at any time. The latest version will always be available on our website. It is your responsibility to check this page periodically for updates. Continued use of our services after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
